Overcoming challenges and setbacks, we emerged stronger and more determined, officially relaunching Xeekar on August 5, 2019. After years of perseverance, we secured our Vehicle Tracking Service (VTS) license from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) on May 5, 2024.

Xeekar's journey officially commenced under the umbrella of Linkxtek Ltd. With a bold vision, the company aimed to revolutionize the GPS tracking industry using homegrown Bangladeshi technology.

The research and development phase began, spanning nearly a year. The team focused on developing both hardware and software for their vehicle tracking service, laying the groundwork for future success.

Linkxtek Ltd. submitted an application to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) for a Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) license.

February 19, 2017
After significant effort, Linkxtek Ltd. received its Vehicle Tracking Service License under License Number: 14.32.0000.007.58.031.15.17, marking a major milestone in the company's growth.

2017-2018
Despite receiving the VTS license, Xeekar encountered a series of challenges that slowed its momentum. Internal disagreements and financial strain further complicated matters, and growth was slower than anticipated.

Mid-2018
Xeekar's operations came to a halt. Linkxtek Ltd. ceased all business activities, and Xeekar was completely shut down from mid-2018 to mid-2019, leaving the company's future uncertain.

In a remarkable turn of events, Xeekar was reborn, rising from the ashes like a phoenix, with a renewed vision to continue its journey forward.

February 25, 2020
Despite having no resources, Xeekar applied for a VTS license from BTRC once again, determined to push forward despite the odds.

March 2020
The global COVID-19 pandemic struck, leading to a nationwide lockdown that severely impacted Xeekar’s operations. The organization’s struggles intensified as the pandemic forced the team to confront unforeseen challenges.

October 2020
Xeekar’s VTS license application was canceled due to the instability of the newly formed organization, further hindering its efforts to rebuild and regain momentum.

2021
As Xeekar prepared to apply for the VTS license again, the pandemic caused two more nationwide lockdowns. These additional hurdles led the company to adopt a cautious approach, deciding to wait rather than applying prematurely.

September 13, 2022
Xeekar submitted its application for a VTS license for the second time. The licensing process had become more stringent, requiring NOCs from the National Security Intelligence (NSI) and the Special Branch (SB), in addition to previous steps.

The licensing process dragged on, causing continuous delays and compounding Xeekar's challenges. The prolonged uncertainty tested the team’s resilience, and frustration grew as setbacks mounted.

After nearly two years of waiting, Xeekar achieved a significant milestone, receiving its VTS license from the BTRC. This marked the culmination of a long and arduous 5-year journey, making May 5, 2024, a day of triumph and celebration for Xeekar Solutions.
